A thorough consultation will be done prior to the hands-on portion. The therapist will then step out to give you privacy as you get on the table. The type of massage, areas being worked, pressure used, etc. will all be discussed prior to hands-on work.

You may disrobe to your level of comfort. If you want to leave your underwear on or take it off, either is fine with us. You will have full privacy when getting on and off of the table, and we have sheets and blankets to keep you covered!

I am a prenatal certified massage therapist, but unfortunately at this time I am not able to perform massage for anyone experiencing a high risk pregnancy.
During a prenatal massage, you can expect to be in a side-lying position for the duration of the session. No deep or firm pressure work will be used. Using a lighter pressure, we are still able to release some muscle tension, but our session will be geared towards relieving stress and promoting relaxation for both you and your baby.
